Shemon & Sheppard – In The Afternoon

I don't think the pilgrims arriving on the Mayflower were too concerned about football but football is as much a part of Thanksgiving Day as the turkey at tour family gatherings.  The Lions started playing football on this holiday in 1934.  The Cowboys joined in on the fun in 1966 and the league added a prime time game to the holiday in 2006.  So today we will partake in Thanksgiving Football Trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show on ESPN Southwest Florida. And GOOD NEWS!  Our phones are back for the first time since Hurricane Ian! In case you are not fortunate enough to be lucky caller number nine at 239-337-ESPN, then you are in luck!  Play at home and dazzle your family!  Stump your co-workers with useless knowledge!  Amaze your friends with your newfound intelligence!  Below are the actual questions AND ANSWERS heard during Wiki-Pete-ia on our show. This year's holiday triple header will feature the Bills at Lions, the Giants at Cowboys, and the Patriots at Vikings.  During Wiki-Pete-ia we will do a thumbnail peek at each team's history.  It's time to celebrate the most fun holiday of the year! Let's have some fun and play Wiki-Pete-ia! Good Luck! -Craig Shemon
