Craig Shemon:

Craig Shemon joins ESPN SWF (770 AM, 98.1 & 104.3 FM) and brings over 30 years of broadcast experience which includes stints as a major market nationally syndicated talk show host and NFL and college football, basketball and baseball play-by-play announcer.

Before arriving in Southwest Florida, Shemon co-hosted Fox Sports Radio’s nationally syndicated morning show based in Los Angeles. Afterward he was a nationally syndicated midday host at Yahoo! Sports Radio in Houston.

Along the way, Shemon did play-by-play for the NFL on Fox, NFL Europe on the NFL Network and college basketball on the Big Ten Network. Additional play-by-play duties included a seven year stint as the radio voice of The Citadel Military College’s football, basketball and baseball teams. While there he also hosted The Citadel’s weekly radio and TV coach’s shows.

Shemon’s other TV duties included a two year run as DirecTV’s studio host for MLB’s StrikeZone Channel. Along the way Shemon has covered numerous Super Bowls, BCS Championships, Final Fours, NBA Finals and All-Star Games, PGA and NASCAR events.

Shemon is an Associated Press winner for his play-by-play work in the state of Indiana and in 2012 Talkers Magazine named him to the Heavy Hundred of Sports Talk Radio.

Shemon is a graduate of Indiana University.

Pete Sheppard:

Pete Sheppard has been in radio/tv broadcasting since 1987. Born and raised in Narragansett, Rhode Island. Graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School in 1985 and the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in 1988. Sheppard worked at several stations in Rhode Island and Connecticut before moving to Massachusetts in 1990 to continue his broadcasting career eventually landing a full time gig at WEEI in Boston in 1995.

From 1999-2010 was part of the highly rated “The Big Show” in afternoon drive at WEEI and also hosted “The Real Post Game Show” with former NFL players Fred Smerlas and Steve DeOssie for 11 years. After a brief absence, Sheppard returned to WEEI in 2016 where he remained a part time fill in host for various day-parts and also hosted NFL Sunday which was a 4 hour pre-game show for the Patriots as well as an in depth look at the rest of the NFL, fantasy football and a gambling segment.

Sheppard moved to Bonita Springs, Florida in early April 2017 with his wife Elaine and Scottie Terrier “Chiara”.
