I don’t think the pilgrims arriving on the Mayflower were too concerned about football but football is as much a part of Thanksgiving Day as the turkey at tour family gatherings. The Lions started playing football on this holiday in 1934. The Cowboys joined in on the fun in 1966 and the league added a prime time game to the holiday in 2006. So today we will partake in Thanksgiving Football Trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show on ESPN Southwest Florida.
