A server at Chili's delivers food and drink to 3 females at a table. Florida Chili's locations total 138.

Chili’s has been crushing the commercial game lately. Their discounted burger promotion had me quickly looking up Florida Chili’s locations. Upon doing so, I was shocked to find that the Sunshine State has a whooping 138 Chili's restaurants.

Did you know that 11% of Chili's restaurants in the country are located in Florida? This is significant because only the state of Texas has more.

In late 2023, Eat This Not That! released a feature that detailed how many chain restaurants in the United States were closing locations. This included many of Chili's competitors such as TGI Fridays, Applebee's, and Outback Steakhouse.

Luckily Chili's was not mentioned and appears alive and well in Florida. In addition, each of our major metros has a location.

Another fun (or not so fun) fact is that Oregon is the only state in the country that does not have a Chili's restaurant. Even Hawaii and Alaska do, but for some reason, the Beaver State has been left out.

So, whether you're hitting the coast for some beach time or you're among the high rises in the city, you have a Chili's at your disposal, with almost every corner of the state covered.

Now that I have no choice but to make the drive and indulge in all that Chili’s has to offer, here is the perfect order.

Start off with the best queso dip. The skillet queso with fresh chips and salsa immediately makes any trip worth it. While I rarely stray from the combo fajita platter that you can hear coming from deep into their kitchen, their burger game is very underestimated.

Chili’s also knows how to make a drink. Though the draft beers are nice in a cold mug, those Coca-Colas just hit different. I’m not even a soda drinker, but there’s something about the Chili’s pour over ice that is just awesome.

Whether you pack in tightly to one of their six-seater booths or gather around the cheerful Chili's bar vibe, you are bound to catch some sports on their TVs. You can bring the kids for a fun family night or ride solo and catch the game. Either way, you are still in for a treat.
