Baker Mayfield Hopes to be Third Bucs QB to Win Super Bowl
Baker Mayfield hopes to be the third Buccaneers quarterback to win a Super Bowl. After testing free agency for about five minutes he signed a three year deal with Tampa. Mayfield was once the top pick of the NFL draft but, ultimately, things did not work out with the Cleveland Browns. Short stints with the Carolina Panthers and Los Angeles Rams preceded his audition with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. All in all, things went pretty well for him last year as the Bucs got into the playoffs. He led the team to a post season victory and took the Detroit Lions down to the wire in their second playoff game before coming up short.
BAKER MAYFIELD HOPES TO BE A WINNER
Mayfield had a good enough season to earn a three-year 100-million dollar contract extension. Throughout his career he has had numerous ups and downs. But when he has been healthy he is as scrappy and feisty as any QB in the league. And his teammates love him for it. He is a great locker room guy. Mayfield is another QB added to the long list of signal callers in Tampa. So let’s take a look at them with Trivia on Craig Shemon and Company on ESPN Southwest Florida.
