Tiger Woods Sun Day Red

Tiger Woods Sun Day Red

Tiger Woods is making his 2024 debut this week at The Genesis Invitational. But Tiger is not just debuting his game this week. Tiger Woods Sun Day Red apparel is announced as Tiger splits with Nike Golf. Tiger is not the only Nike golfer to leave the iconic brand this offseason. Jason Day left Nike for a deal with Malbon Golf this offseason. And even with Tiger and JD leaving the brand, they still have Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, and Tommy Fleetwood on their roster. And although you cannot purchase Tiger Woods Sun Day Red yet, it is sure to be a big ticket item in the golf world. Here is the official video from Tiger Woods on Twitter/X.

Tiger Woods Sun Day Red

Tiger venturing outside of an established brand in the world of golf is not unusual. Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer, and Ben Hogan all developed their own clubs, or line of clubs with a manufacturer. Greg Norman created his own apparel line that has stood the test of time. Tiger is just the latest legendary golfer who has created his own line. The name "Sun Day Red" makes total sense. For the last two decades there is only one player identified with a specific color on a day. It's Tiger and his Sunday Red that he's worn for his 82 victories on the PGA Tour.

First Look

We have our first look at Tiger's Sun Day Red apparel. Or at least some of it. The logo has 15 stripes. The same number of Majors Tiger has in his trophy case. He also went into detail on why he broke Sunday Red into three words- Sun Day Red. In a release Tiger says "there is a special power in 3's. Calling it Sun Day Red was a fun way for us to create something completely different and unexpected. Born from a love for being outside in the sun, the joy of playing golf during the day, and a special red being the brands power color". There are no leaks on how expensive the brand will be. But seeing the relationship with Tiger, and you can bet it will be towards the top of the market.
