USA Today, 10Best has compiled a list of the nation's ten best theme park Halloween events.
They had a group of experts put forward the nominees. Then, their editors narrowed it down to the final ones. From there, readers got to have their say and vote on the ultimate winners. "These ten haunted houses/attractions have been voted by our readers as the best in the country for the quality of their actors, set designs, and special effects, as well as value for money," USA Today wrote.
3 Florida Theme Parks Score a Spot in the Ranking
Earning the top spot on the list is Howl-O-Scream at SeaWorld. During each Halloween season, this event offers a range of haunted houses, darkened thrill rides, immersive scare zones, and live shows. SeaWorld's Howl-O-Scream has multiple locations, one of which is in Orlando.
Claiming the second position is Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens. This theme park is highlighted in the ranking for its darkened thrill rides and intense storylines at the heart of Howl-O-Scream. Busch Gardens also has multiple locations, including one in Tampa. This year, Busch Gardens Howl-O-Scream in Tampa features a new haunted house, two fresh scare zones, and three haunted productions. In "D.H. Baggum’s Circus of Fear," the park introduces D.H. Baggum's monstrous creations, promising a thrilling experience.
Rounding out the list at number ten is Universal Studios, which hosts Halloween Horror Nights at various locations, including Orlando. This ranking highlights Universal Studios' haunted houses, featuring themes like "The Exorcist: Believer" and "Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count."
