Chick-fil-A Now Makes Burgers And Wings With Their Little Blue Menu

Chick-fil-A has announced a new innovative kitchen brand called Little Blue Menu. Though they will serve their traditional favorites, this concept restaurant will also serve specialty items like burgers and chicken wings.

This expansion was inspired by Chick-fil-A founder S. Truett Cathy's first restaurant, which was established in 1946.  It was here that he tested different menu items and presented them on a blue menu.

The first Little Blue Menu location opened on September 14 in College Park, Maryland. "College Park is a hub for innovation, so we can think of no better place to introduce Little Blue Menu and give customers more of what they want,” said L.J. Yankosky, senior director of the innovation and new ventures team at Chick-fil-A. This location is open from 6:30 AM to 10 PM, Monday through Saturday. Like Chick-fil-A, it will be closed on Sundays.

A Peak At The Menu Items

Believe it or not, the home of the "Eat More Chikin" slogan will now cook up an array of burgers. The Little Blue Menu will feature hamburgers, cheeseburgers, bacon burgers, and blue cheeseburgers. In addition, there will be the option to build your own. Next, there are bone-in and boneless wings with a variety of sauces. In addition to the traditional Chik-fil-A fries, there will be Brussel sprouts, sweet potato tots, mini biscuits, and onion rings as side options. Breakfast includes items such as a croissant and chocolate brioche. Dessert includes treats such as a lemon pie bar and cinnamon roll.

"To lean into a Maryland favorite, Little Blue Menu is excited to offer OLD BAY as an option in the Sauces & Seasoning section of the menu," Chick-fil-A explains about adding local flavors to their sauce options.

Digital Ordering

Fox5 Atlanta recently reported that the menu is not the only thing changing. "All orders will be taken digitally for pickup, delivery and catering," they explain about this Chick-fil-A app-driven process.

Chick-fil-A has been enthusiastic about its expansion plans as of late. With these new items being served alongside Chick-fil-A classics, we hope this new innovative concept comes closer to us soon.
