When it comes to pizza, I pretty much like all. Growing up in Chicago, I am bias to Chicago style pizza. I enjoy a good thin crust loaded with toppings. My go-to is sausage, onion and green pepper. But I also like deep dish with a delicious buttery crust for when I'm feeling really hungry. But you can't go wrong with New York style pizza, Detroit style pizza, Roman, Sicilian and Tavern style. I like it all. I love that here in SWFL you can get lots of different kinds and one Fort Myers pizzeria ranked 3rd in the entire state of Florida for New York style pizza.

They looked at 7.5 million Yelp reviews to find out the best regional pizza styles in each state. Uncle Rico's in Fort Myers is a place I've been hearing everyone RAVING about. Their Yelp page has completely blown up and they're talked about regularly in every foodie group I'm in on Facebook. It's possible that Little Caesar's low price is attracting a bigger crowd since inflation is taking such a big bite out of everyone's budget. Florida’s pizza preference for 2022 actually surprised me. I thought we'd follow the trend and choose Little Caesar's, but as you'll see, they are all the way down at number 4.
