Pat Sajak Leaving Wheel Of Fortune After 40 Years: Cringeworthy Moments
After 40 years on the long running game show, host Pat Sajak has announced his retirement. He announced his departure in a tweet, saying:
"Well, the time has come. I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last," Sajak said. "It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months.
"Many thanks to you all."
He began as the host of the long time game show in 1981, alongside co host, Vanna White. It is unclear at this time as to who is replacement will be.
