Happy Mother's Day this weekend to all of the moms! In honor of this very special day, Billboard has released a 20 song playlist dedicated to mothers. There is plenty of variety here, as all moms and mom-lovers should be able to find their groove within the playlist, no matter what kind of music they prefer. A Mothers Day Playlist.
Here they are (in the order Billboard placed them in, which seems like no particular order):
1. "Dear Mama", 2Pac
2. "Mama", The-Dream
3. "The Perfect Fan", Backstreet Boys
4. "Look What You've Done", Drake
5. "(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time on You", 'N Sync
6. "Mother", Kacey Musgraves
7. "Oh Mother", Christina Aguilera
8. "Mother", Danzig
9. "Hey Mama", Kanye West
10. "Mama I'm Coming Home", Ozzy Osbourne
11. "Mother's Little Helper", The Rolling Stones
12. "Mama", Crystal Bowersox
13. "Mother", Pink Floyd
14. "Mama Said Knock You Out", LL Cool J
15. "Hot Mama", Trace Adkins
16. "Mama's Pearl", The Jackson 5
17. "Mother", John Lennon
18. "A Song for Mama", Boyz II Men
19. "Mama Liked the Roses", Elvis Presley
20. "Mama", Spice Girls
Rock fans will probably agree with my favorites #8,10,11,13 (and #14 is another personal favorite). A fine Mother's Day Playlist, but if I could add to the list, "Stacey's Mom" and the Run The Jewels classic "Oh Mama".
