Florida Woman Steals Someone’s Wallet At Waffle House Because “The Money Was Calling To Me”
This might be the dumbest explanation as to why you were stealing. Florida Woman Kwanita Morton of St. Petersburg was at a Florida Waffle House when she noticed someone forgot their wallet on the counter after they paid their bill. That's when, according to the arrest report:
"The defendant was seen on video looking around, putting her hat on top of the victim's wallet on the counter, and sliding the hat with the wallet into her hands. Defendant used her hat to conceal the victims wallet and take it off the counter with discretion. The defendant then quickly leaves the establishment while her husband and child are left inside to pay."
She just boosted someone's wallet and then left the fam to pay the bill ? That's not right. The wallet had $2,286 dollars and some credit cards in it. When police asked why she did it, her response - "The Money Was Calling To Me".
