Ivanka Trump will raise money in Naples on Wednesday, less than a week after her father visited Southwest Florida.
President Donald Trump’s joint fundraising committee, composed of the Republican National Committee and the state Republicans, has successfully announced that the first daughter will be a special guest at the luncheon. The committee has not disclosed the location of the event.
The invitation-only event costs at least $15,000 per couple. Lunch and two round table seats cost US$100,000. Attempts to contact officials on the Trump Victory Committee’s Florida operation on Sunday were unsuccessful.
Prior to Wednesday’s event, President Donald Trump visited Fort Myers, where he spoke with about 400 people at an invitation-only event at the Caloosa Sound Conference Center and Amphitheater adjacent to the Luminary Hotel.
In his speech for the elderly, Trump announced the establishment of a partnership with CVS and Walgreens, once available, it will “provide the elderly for free to nursing homes” COVID-19 vaccine management.
Florida is one of several key battlefield states including Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Arizona, and North Carolina, and these states may postpone elections.
The counties in southwestern Florida were crucial to Trump’s 2016 victory in Florida, which helped secure his presidential campaign. Trump won votes in Collier, Lee and Charlotte counties in 2016 by more than 137,000 votes.
Opinion survey data collected by RealClearPolitics shows that the double-digit lead that former Vice President Joe Biden once achieved in Florida has shrunk, and several polls now have reduced the number of candidates by a few points. Despite falling behind in fundraising, Trump managed to close the gap. According to data released by Biden’s campaign, last month, Biden’s campaign raised $383 million, which is $130 million more than Trump.
