Publix will be discontinuing one-way aisles in some locations, according to a Twitter thread.
The one-way aisles were initially implemented to help customers "understand and practice social distancing and over time, we've adopted it into our routines," said a Publix official on Twitter.
Only stores not currently under local ordinance will be affected.
Customers will still be asked to wear face coverings and stay six-feet apart as part of social distancing guidelines.
