Charlotte County Will Reopen Beaches, Some Parks

Charlotte County officials announced Tuesday afternoon it would reopen beaches and some parks, according to NBC2.

Sports fields and dog parks will reopen for regularly scheduled hours beginning Friday, April 24.

Englewood Beach and Port Charlotte Beach will reopen Monday, April 27. Restrooms will remain closed and parking will be free.

Baseball, softball, soccer and football fields will reopen, but no organized activities will be allowed.

Visitors are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines and social distancing rules.
