When Patrick Mahomes suits up for the Chief on Super Bowl Sunday, he'll be the fifth-youngest quarterback to do so at just-over 24 years-old. Let's take a look at how the four other youngest QBs in Super Bowl history performed during the championships.
Jared Goff was 24 during last year's Super Bowl and CBS Sports called his appearance "forgettable" after The Rams lost to Tom Brady's Patriots.
David Woodley had one of the worst Super Bowl performances in history in 1983. The 24-year-old, who finished 4 of 14 for 93 yards for his Dolphins to lose to the Redskins.
Ben Roethlisberger won his first Super Bowl appearance in 2006 at 23 with the Steelers for a 23-10 win over Seattle.
Dan Marino was just a bit younger by days than Ben Roethlisberger when he went to the Super Bowl in 1985 at 23. Although Marino had an amazing season, he was held up by the 49ers defense, giving the Dolphins the loss. It was the only Super Bowl game Marino would ever play in.
