Former NBA referee Joey Crawford had a reputation for being hot-tempered and quick with an ejection.
Now Crawford says his temper would get him in trouble with former NBA commish David Stern. Crawford says Stern sent him to therapy after his infamous 2007 ejection of Tim Duncan for laughing while he sat on the bench. Crawford, who was suspended for the rest of that season, says Stern sent him to a psychiatrist who told him he was 'overly passionate'. He says the advice of his therapists helped him make it through the next 10 years before he retired in 2016.
