Just as quickly as it began, it's over. Taking a look back for TikTok Tuesday, here are videos of the 5 top Olympic moments from the summer games.
If I'm being honest, there really are too many top moments to count. Certainly, too many epic videos to post here. However, these are some of the most watched ones on social media. If you have not seen them yet, you are about to understand why they rank high.
The videos are not only of epic performances and victories. They also celebrate the human side of these games and the elite athletes who are competing.
I can't even begin to imagine what it is like to train so hard for so long to pursue your dream. Then to actually win on the world stage, coming out ahead of all the others who are also the best in your field.
More Top Olympic Moments
The photo above was captured using a remote camera positioned above the basketball court during a game between Team USA and Serbia. Check out the horizontal position of Lebron James as he dunks the ball. USA ended up winning the gold in a fierce battle with France. What a game.
This gymnastics photo was another of the top Olympic moments. It shows great sportsmanship and respect for fellow athletes.
Last week we featured the top 5 videos of Snoop Dogg, the unexpected star of NBC commentating. We got to see a new side of the actor/rapper and it was endearing to millions of viewers. Especially so for the athletes.
If you don't have a TikTok account, don't worry. I've made it easy to view by taking these links from mine. Simply scroll down and watch from this post. For more Olympic moments check out NBC's TikTok account too.

Winning For Most Romantic
This moment is just the best. In so many ways. The moment when long jumper Tara Davis-Woodhall wins and runs into the arms of her husband and Paralympian Hunter Woodhall. This one is good to have the sound on. The sheer joy and excitement. Their story is meant for a Hallmark Movie.
Moonwalking In The Water
Not sure what choreographer thought of this but it's brilliant. Moonwalking in the pool. It's one of the many well executed moves that lead the United States Artistic Swimming Team to take home not one, but three gold medals. Most people can't do this on land, forget about upside down and in the water.
This Look Says It All
This slow motion of Sha'Carri Richardson is awesome. She won a silver medal in the women's 100-meter dash, fractions of seconds from winning gold. In addition, she led the U.S. team to a gold medal in the 4x100-meter relay. The girl's speed is amazing.
Surfer Takes Flight
Who can forget this photo of surfer Gabriel Medina once he realizes he has won gold. But this video shows the epic moment from different angles. So cool.
Queen Of The Track
Finally, I love this compilation of SydneyMcLaughlin-Levrone. She won the gold medal in 400-meter hurdles and broke a world record. Her sister-in-law brought the tiara to the games and crowned her after she hugged her.
