The Best Food at The Masters

The Best food at The Masters

The Masters is here, or at least almost here. And among the "traditions unlike any other" is the price of food and the news that it makes every year. I have been to Augusta National for the Masters every year dating back to 2007, excluding 2020 and 2021. I have had everything on the menu multiple times. I'll rank the best food at the Masters in a minute. But it needs to be taken with a grain of salt. The food is a great bang for your buck. Here is what the prices look like for the Augusta National Women's Amateur.

As you can see, it is really difficult to exceed $20. Now this menu looks different from the one that I have seen on the course during the Masters. Here is the menu from last year.

You can see there aren't too many differences. It's impossible to know exactly what the board will look like when Masters week kicks off on Monday with practice rounds. So I am going to merry the two to the best of my ability. The beer is going to stay- both the domestic and import beer. For what it's worth I think it's Miller Lite (maybe Coors Light) as the domestic beer and it is 100% Blue Moon as the import beer. The Crows Nest is not my favorite, but if you're into brewery style beers with hints of orange brewed with toasted oats than this is your beer. Anyway, let's get into the best food at the Masters (drinks included). Oh yeah, I am not including breakfast even though their chicken biscuit is straight fire.

Georgia Peach Ice Cream Sandwich ($2.00)

This is my favorite item in the course, and honestly one of the best desserts I have ever had. It was not available for 2022, and there are reports that it is gone forever. But if it's on the menu for the ANWA, then I hope it would be on the menu for 2023.

Chicken Salad Sandwich (3.00)

This is a jaded pick. I just want to be up front with that. It's good. But there is a special place in my heart (and stomach) for chicken salad on on a golf course. It is my go to at the turn every time I am on the course, regardless of the time of day.

Blueberry Muffin ($1.50)

I don't know what to tell you here. This is just a solid blueberry muffin with the big sugar flakes baked into the top. It's an elite blueberry muffin.

Pink Lemonade ($1.50)

It's the best drink at Augusta National. They have a blue sports drink, Coke (maybe Pepsi), and Sprite (maybe Misty) but the pink lemonade is the most refreshing drink offered on the grounds.

Egg Salad Sandwich ($1.50)

It's so simple that it's egg-cellent (see what I did there). It's plain jane white wonder bread and a very simple egg salad with very few bells and whistles. I've had days where 5 have been taken down.

Pimento Cheese Sandwich ($1.50)

I might upset some people on this one. It's not worth all the attention it gets. It was the one item I had to get my first time, and I haven't bought another one since. I am not a huge fan of pimento, so take it with a grain of salt.
