Skewers
Skewers are so easy for the grill. In addition, you can put so many things on them. Here is an idea that has a little bit of everything to tweak your creativity.
Caprese
This one sticks to the patriotic theme. It is so easy to throw together as an appetizer. Even better, you can substitute in some charcuterie and different cheese if you don't want tomatoes and mozzarella.
Dragon Eggs
So this is a little different. Can't say I've ever had or made Dragon Eggs before. But if you are wanting to up your protein intake over the holiday, try this one out. Let me know how it goes.
Deviled Eggs
These eggs are a little more traditional than the ones above. Not sure how you feel about food coloring. It doesn't always appeal to me but Deviled Eggs do. So here ya go.
Patriotic Punch
This is fun to keep on hand for both kids and adults. The color is great and you can still tweak the flavors of the punch to your liking. In addition, for adults who want to spice it up, keep some vodka or rum on hand to mix in the glass once it's poured.
