NFL preseason football continues with Packers and Chiefs. If that sounds familiar, it should. Packers and Chiefs was the matchup for Super Bowl I. However, it was not called the Super Bowl at the time. That moniker came later. So we thought we'd honor those greats, including Len Dawson who just passed away, with Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show.

When the Packers and Chiefs play, it stirs up memories of the early infancy days of the NFL. A lot of the games greatest names played in that first Super Bowl. We mentioned Dawson already. Let's also not forget Chiefs owner Lamar Hunt who was instrumental in the AFL's survival as well as his roll putting together the Super Bowl.
