There's something special about the number one picks in the NFL draft. It's like a special club. Nobody remembers the second pick of the NFL draft, do they? Well, they do. But I digress. There is a lot of pressure on the team that picks first. First of all, barring a trade, the team with the first pick is the worst team in the league. They usually have a lot of needs that one player cannot fix by themselves. There is also the fact that roughly half the first-pick club usually flame out. Dare I say, they become busts? That leaves a horrible team in a crunch where they have to start over after pinning their hopes on one player. Also, did you know only 14 top picks have made it to the Hall of Fame? (Hmm. I smell another quiz coming)
