Naples Voted The Safest Place To Live In the U.S. – Fort Myers is Number 3

The US News and World Report just released their list "Safest Place to Live in the United States" rankings and we are on top. Like the tippy top. Fort Myers is number 3, and Naples is number 1. Port St. Lucie came in at number 2. Breaking it down, 7 of the top 10 safest places to live in the US are in Florida. The methodology used: "Based on the metro areas’ murder and property crime rates per 100,000 people, determined by the FBI crime reports, these are the safest places to live in the country. "

U.S. News analyzed 150 metro areas in the United States to find the best places to live based on quality of life and the job market in each metro area, as well as the value of living there and people's desire to live there. I've included some of the other rankings from different categories. No surprise that Naples also showed up on the "Most Expensive Places To Live" list.
