Miami Reporter Samantha Rivera Dropped A Stiff-Arm Onto An Aggressive Vegas Fan After Last Night’s Game
Samantha Rivera of CBS Miami was sent on a difficult mission in Las Vegas. She was reporting in the hostile environment of T-Mobile Arena shortly after The Vegas Golden Knights crushed the Florida Panthers 7-2. The win puts the Knights up 2-0 in the quest for the Stanley Cup. The series moves to Florida for an 8pm game on Thursday.
So, all Samantha was trying to do was a short intro and get into the highlights. The problem being was that she was in the stands among some enthusiastic Vegas fans. One fan tried to interrupt the shot, and Samantha was NOT having it.
Samantha posted on her Instagram "Panthers lost another rough one tonight but let this serve as a reminder to back the hell off when I’m working and respect that I’m doing my job. Excited to get back home to some classy #Panthers fans for game 3!!"
I get it, fans can get a little rowdy after a big win. Samantha Rivera did what she had to do. She knew the guy was going to try something and she was ready. Dude stepped into her shot, and got checked. After losing 5-2 on Saturday, and then 7-2 last night, maybe it's time for Samantha to suit up for Florida and get down on the ice.
Here's her full recap
Brutal night for the Panthers. It got bad early.
Pre game
If she got to watch the game for that spot, I'm jealous. Great view.
Love that dress. It HAS to be difficult reporting from that environment.
You know the rule. Don't touch the cup. Fun fact, that very same cup was here at the station a few years back.
Panthers are down 2-0, but game 3 is back in Sunrise.
