HARRY POTTER TRIVIA ON J.K. ROWLING’S BIRTHDAY

Harry Potter

Today we J.K. Rowling celebrates her 58th birthday so we will do Harry Potter Trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show today on ESPN Southwest Florida.  Rowling, of course, famously wrote the entire Harry Potter book series.  And they were all made into fantastic movies which were all box office gold!

Rowling is a true lesson in determination.  She could not find a publisher for her Harry Potter series.  In fact, the reason she quit using her full name, Joanne Kathleen Rowling, was she feared publishers would not take a woman seriously.  So she shortened it to J.K. Rowling.  After catching her big break, children around the world could not get enough of Harry Potter.  Eventually, the books were made into blockbuster movies and Rowling is now a billionaire.

So wave your magic wand and be caller number 9 and play Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show on ESPN Southwest Florida.  We play everyday at 4:45 ish.  Our phone number is 239-337-ESPN.  That's 239-337-3776.  If you get through you get to play for prizes, win or lose.  If you don't get through, then amaze your friends and family by playing at work or at home.  Our questions and answers are below.  good luck!
