HARRY POTTER TRIVIA ON J.K. ROWLING’S BIRTHDAY

Today we J.K. Rowling celebrates her 58th birthday so we will do Harry Potter Trivia on Wiki-Pete-ia on the Shemon and Sheppard Show today on ESPN Southwest Florida.  Rowling, of course, famously wrote the entire Harry Potter book series.  And they were all made into fantastic movies which were all box office gold! Rowling is a true lesson in determination.  She could not find a publisher for her Harry Potter series.  In fact, the reason she quit using her full name, Joanne Kathleen Rowling, was she feared publishers would not take a woman seriously.  So she shortened it to J.K. Rowling.  After catching her big break, children around the world could not get enough of Harry Potter.  Eventually, the books were made into blockbuster movies and Rowling is now a billionaire.
