Brittle Dodgers Reporter Broke His Hand, Wrist, And Six Ribs Going Down Bernie’s Slide At Brewer’s Game
We all know the slide at American Family Field. Bernie's Slide. The one the mascot slides down after the home team hits a home run. It actually looks like it could be a lot of fun.
Did you know - anyone can go down the slide. You just have to book it in advance and it's $150 for 5 rides down the slide plus a photo op. As far as baseball experiences go, not a terrible deal. Just a casual lookup on insta and it looks like people do this all the time. Men, women, children, no problem. Dodgers Reporter David Vassegh had been talking about how excited he was to get a chance to do Bernie's Slide. Now to his defense, maybe the wall at the end of the slide is a little closer than it should be, but how did you break your hand, wrist, and 6 ribs going down the slide. I expected much a worse video for the injuries listed. He might wanna get checked out for some sort of bone disease. maybe get you a glass of whole milk.
I kid. I kid. It looks like he's in good spirits and is going to be ok.

Another angle - it's a pretty hard hit
And he's right back out there
Michael Harris II Of The Braves Played The Super Troopers “Cat Game” During Interview
It's been over 20 years since Super Troopers hit theaters and the movie and bits like the Cat Game are still relevant today. The movie actually came out the same year that Michael Harris II was born - 2001. That's what makes this even more special when he did a post game interview after Sunday's 3-1 win over the Marlins.
Michael went 2-4 with a solo home run to tie the game in the 9th. Being as how he tied the game which they went on to win, reporters met him at his locker for some soundbites. That's where it gets interesting.
Apparently Atlanta Braves pitcher Tyler Matzek had challenged Michael to play the 'Cat Game".
He needed to work in the word "meow" 5 times within 3 minutes. It's an incredible juvenile game that's fun to play when no one else around is in on the joke. Let's count 'em up and see how he did.
