The biggest busts in sports is a topic reviewed this time each year. Why? It’s the anniversary of the Portland Trail Blazers drafting Greg Oden in 2007. We also revisit this topic when the anniversary of Ryan Leaf’s draft comes up. However, for the sake of avoiding low-hanging fruit we will not include Leaf or Oden in our daily quiz. In fact, there are plenty others to choose from. More on that in a moment.

Draft busts are devistating for fans because it means the drought will likely continue. Fans have already endured a horribly long season to earn a chance at picking one of the best athletes available in the draft. Hope reigns supreme. But, if the pick is a bust, then the suffering will continue.
