10 Best College Football Home Fields

Penn State 10 best college football home fields

College football is almost here! There is so much to look forward to, but one thing I always look forward to are the home stadiums. There is no better home court/field/stadium advantage than what we see in college football. Whether it be dotting the eye at Ohio State, the Iowa fans waiving to the children's hospital, or LSU students singing "Neck". The pageantry, enthusiasm, and general rabid nature of the college football fan can not be matched in any other sport. I've been to a few of the premier stadiums in college football; The Swamp, Doak Campbell, Hard Rock (maybe not a premier stadium, but it was cool), and Bryant-Denny. Of the 4 that I have been to the Swamp is far and away the best atmosphere. Now, I saw Florida State play NC State for a mighty noon game, The U play UNC on a Saturday night, and Bama take on North Texas for an 11am local time kickoff. So I didn't see the fan bases at their rowdiest, but I have a good feel for those stadiums watching on television.

There will be no criteria for the 10 best college football home fields. These are just the 10 that I most badly want to go watch a big time game. I'm sure I will offend you because your team will not be on this list, but whatever. It's my list. Fell free to let me know any of the great college football home fields that I missed. So here are my 10 best college football home fields.
