Tiger Woods and his caddie, Lance Bennett have plenty to celebrate, as Woods made his 24th consecutive Masters cut, a new record.
When Tiger Woods missed the cut at The Masters in 1996 - just his second year playing in it - he vowed to make amends for it. And boy has he.

With his even-par round of 72 Friday at Augusta National Golf Club, the golf legend secured his 24th consecutive Masters cut made. That broke the record he shared with Gary Player and Fred Couples of 23 straight.
Woods shot 73-72 in the first two rounds, which is somewhat remarkable given what he was up against. He had to play the final five holes of his first round early Friday morning, making for a long day of 23 holes.
Back in the day, that wouldn't have been much for Woods. But given his physical ailments following his near-fatal car accident in February of 2021, it's a bit remarkable that he's even remotely in contention.
But for someone who loves The Masters as much as Woods - he's won the tournament five times -, grinding it out seemed relatively easy. Even with the wind battering him all day long, Woods never lost composure.
Tiger Woods and The Streak
