Everything about coronavirus on the news, in the media, and on social media is scary right now. These movies and television shows will only heighten your fears. If you decide to watch one, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
"Contagion" - This movie has a killer cast (Matt Damon, Gwyneth Paltrow, Laurence Fishburne, Jude Law, and Kate Winslet all star in it), and its eerily similar to what we are currently dealing with amid the coronavirus outbreak.

"Outbreak" - This 1995 movie showed what happens after a African monkey with a deadly virus is smuggled into the U.S. It was scary then, and it's still scary now.
"Containment". - Also on Netflix, this TV show explores what happens when a contagion sweeps through Atlanta. There are only 13 episodes, but they will have you on the edge of your seat.
#93 Days" - This film shows what happens when health workers fight to contain Ebola. What makes is scarier is that it's based on a true story.
"2012" - This doomsday thriller featuring John Cusack isn't about viruses, but it does show what the end of the world could look like.
"World War Z" - This apocalyptic action horror film is terrifying, but at least looking at Brad Pitt makes it better.
"Quarantine" - A mysterious virus, death, and bloody thirsty killer - What more could you want on your television screen right now? This movie, from 2008, is so bad that it's good. Even better: it has a sequel you can watch too.
"The Crazies" - What happens when a toxin turns people into bloodthirsty lunatics? Well, The Crazies tell you.
"I Am Legend" - Will Smith takes us on a ride in the post-apocalyptic thriller about a plague that turns humans into mutants. Good times.
