Former Fort Myers star Jadrian Tracey returns to March Madness with fifth-seeded Oregon. He's averaging 7.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game, helping push the Ducks into tournament contention.

After winning eight of ten games in a hot late-season stretch, Oregon locked up their spot in Seattle for the tournament. Their fifth seed came thanks to this impressive run.

Before reaching this level, Tracey developed his game at Southwest Florida Christian Academy and Riverdale High. He really found his groove at Florida SouthWestern State College, where he averaged 14.4 points per game.

During his time at Florida SouthWestern, he shot an impressive 44.6% from the field and knocked down 43.3% of his three-pointers. Combined with 5.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game, he earned NJCAA All-American Honorable Mention recognition.

The Ducks are peaking at just the right time. Their strong 8-2 finish shows they're ready for the tournament's challenges.

It's been quite a journey from Lee County courts to the big stage in Seattle. Tracey worked his way through junior college before making it to Division I basketball.

His shooting touch at Florida SouthWestern grabbed attention from recruiters. That 43% success rate from beyond the arc proved he could score from anywhere.

Though he's scoring less in Oregon's system than he did in junior college, Tracey has found new ways to contribute at the D1 level.

Having been to the tournament before, Tracey brings valuable experience to Oregon's playoff run. His composure could make a difference in close games.

The regional games in Seattle give Oregon a chance to make noise in the West. Their first few matchups could set them up for a tournament run.
