The Commanders and Eagles kick off Week 11 of the NFL slate on Thursday Night Football. This NFC East rivalry showcases two teams with seven wins each and some star power as well.

The Commanders are led by rookie sensation QB Jayden Daniels who is making the league look too easy. And Eagles running back Saquon Barkley is getting MVP talk after the Giants threw him away this off season. Everybody is still talking about his backward hurdle over a Jacksonville player two weeks ago. He needs nine yards to become a 1000 yard rusher.

COMMANDERS AND EAGLES

This game also features the tale of two head coaches. Washington coach Dan Quinn has flipped the script on a rudderless organization while still in his first year with the aforementioned rookie quarterback. Their progress has truly been amazing.

Meanwhile, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni would have been fired after last season's collapse if not for the fact this team went to the Super Bowl the year before. He's been neutered of any major responsibilities with the offense and defense. He basically just decides whether to punt or go for two points. And many times he does not get those decisions right. And yet here we are with a battle for first place in the division in mid-November.

The Commanders and Eagles promises to be a good one and its result will have playoff ramifications moving forward. Sometimes Thursday Night football games can be dull affairs since it is part of a short week for the players. However, with this being an important division rivalry we expect full effort on both sides.
