Stalker alert! A Florida man was caught by Cocoa Beach police, charging him with stalking, cyberstalking, and placing a tracking device on car belonging to his ex-girlfriend. Ya know, some guys just don't take the hint. Like when she says that she's breaking up with you… Dude, it is over. Don't follow her around. That's called being a stalker bro.
According to WESH, Walter's ex made it crystal clear through multiple messages that she didn't want him around anymore. But did he listen? He allegedly did not. Instead, he decided to continually pop up at places she went, ruining her attempts to move on with her life. It didn’t take long for her to notice this eerie routine. She put two and two together when he appeared on a date she was on, as if he had VIP access to her schedule. Suspicious and freaked out, she knew that something really shady was going on.
Stalker Pops up Again:
Then on Nov. 2 when Hite Jr. popped up again at a restaurant, and when she leves, Walter starts following her like he knew her every move. But now she had finally had enough, flagged down a nearby officer, and told them about her stalker. Now if you're a stalker, that should be your cue to take off and leave. But not Walter. No, this sloppy stalker tries his luck and drives past the officer multiple times. Not a good look dude.
So, police pull him over and find out that he didn’t have a valid license and was driving an unregistered car. Strike one and two. That's when they take a deeper look, and find GPS device in his car! And the matching piece was stuck on his ex’s car, confirming he was tracking her every move like a deranged stalker. Busted.
Now, this was the first time Cocoa Beach police had ever seen something like this, but they say it might be the beginning of more of these cases. Be careful who you date. These tracking gadgets are easy to get. And if things start looking suspicious, don’t brush it off.
