Never try and steal from a Cape Coral Target. Their loss Prevention team is on it! Just ask this woman, Elizabeth Novac. She decided that this Target was her personal free-for-all store. And boy did she go for it… We’re talking about more than a thousand bucks worth of stuff, $1,111 to be exact. According to NBC2, she even had the nerve to grab a barista machine and a vacuum cleaner. You know, because if you're gonna clean up on stolen goods, you might as well steal like you're furnishing a mini Starbucks.
Now, here’s the thing… Miss Novac didn’t pull off this heist alone. She brought a kid, a child under 10, into the mix. How jacked up is that? She loaded the cart full of goodies, handed it off to this kid, and pointed them straight towards the exit and walk it out. Because ya know, it's probably fine… And she followed behind like some kind of sketchy supervisor. I mean, who uses a child for their Cape Coral Target shopping spree?
Cape Coral Target Bust:
Of course, the Cape Coral Target and their loss prevention team wasn’t having it. They saw the whole thing go down on camera, so they hit up Cape Coral’s finest. So police eventually catch Novac out there panhandling. They look at her and realize that she's the lady from the Target tapes. Sure enough, it’s game over.
Now, she’s got charges for grand theft and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. I don’t know what’s crazier… The fact that she thought she’d get away with it or the fact that she brought a kid into this mess. Either way, Target’s got its vacuum back, and she’s got a date in court. Ah, sweet justice.
