Florida Man Killed After Dispute Over Jukebox Songs At Restaurant

We all have different tastes in music, but one Florida man took things too far after he killed another man after a jukebox dispute at a restaurant.

If you've ever been to a bar or restaurant that has a jukebox or one of the newer, fancier versions, you know that you only have control of the music if you're the one dropping money into the thing. We all have music we love, but we also all have music we hate. And if it's music playing that you don't like, especially for an extended period of time, it can definitely kill the vibe. Me? I would just go and play the songs I want to hear, but apparently for one Florida man, he couldn't just ignore it or play what he wanted to hear. A jukebox dispute ended with a man dead.

The incident took place last Monday at Fort Lauderdale at Antojitos Mexicanos between 46-year-old Cesar Esquivel Estrada and 54-year-old Socorro Camacho. It was nearing the end of the night, 1:30am, when Estrada played a song on the jukebox. WFOR reports that Comacho approached him saying "You’re not a real Mexican if you play that music.” After an argument between the two, Estrada pulled out a gun and started shooting, hitting Camacho several times killing him.

Estrada took off after the shooting but was brought into custody the next day. He is now being charged with first-degree murder and is being held without bail in the Broward County Jail.

We hear about bar fights all the time, but it is truly sad when it escalates to someone losing their life. We don't know if the two men knew each other or if they had any sort of interaction before this incident, but it's just a shame it had to end like this.
