Man, let me tell you about this Florida artist Ernest McKnight and his really crappy artwork. This 39-year-old from Lake Wales got himself into even more trouble than he was already in thanks to some disgusting self expression.
According to TFP, It all started when McKnight was arrested for burglary and petit theft, nothing out of the ordinary there. But when you think it can’t get worse, ol' Earnest decided to switch things up. While waiting in a holding cell at the Lake Wales Police Department, he must’ve thought, “Why not make some art?” But see, here’s the thing… This Artist didn’t have any art supplies. So, what did he use? Yeah, he got real creative with it. Feces. His own crap.
Poo Artist:
Instead of paper and pen, this man’s canvas was the cell door and walls. Let that sink in along with the smell. Naturally, that odor hit hard, so much so that a detective caught a whiff and had to investigate. I mean, imagine being that guy… Gosh, one minute you're solving real crimes, the next, you're looking at a man’s poop mural.
That’s when they had to call in the pros when dealing with artist of bio hazard kind… The Polk County Sheriff’s Environmental Crimes Unit. When there is a real crappy situation like this, they get involved. Someone had to deal with McKnight’s little artist show after all. His creativity earned him some extra charges too, criminal mischief and some criminal nuisance injurious to health. Let's just say, the authorities didn’t appreciate his “artistic flair.”
After all that, McKnight the artist was sent to the Polk County Jail. Maybe next time he’ll pick up a sketchpad instead of…well, you know.
