A fan favorite at Universal Studios is butterbeer and now, you can get one outside the Universal theme parks.
Every time I go to Universal Studios in Orlando I always like to try new things. Whether it's new snacks, new cocktails, new restaurants at City Walk. But the one thing I have to get every time is a frozen Butterbeer. It's the perfect treat on a hot day and the creamy butterscotch flavor just tastes so good. But to enjoy the drink, you've had to visit the parks whether it's Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure. But that will be changing.
You Can Now Get Butterbeer Outside The Universal Theme Parks
You will still have to go to Orlando, however for the first time ever, Butterbeer will available to purchase outside of the Universal theme parks. That's right, no admission necessary to enjoy a Butterbeer whether you prefer it cold, frozen or hot. According to WKMB, The Universal Studios Store at CityWalk will be opening in 2025 and will have a counter that will serve the delicious drink.
Another cool thing to check out next time you're up in Orlando at CityWalk is the Epic Universe Preview Center. Especially if you're a Harry Potter fan, I'm sure the anticipation of the new land opening next year that will feature new dining, retail, entertainment and a new ride. There will also be a Bièraubeurre Cart because no visit to a Harry Potter land would be complete without a Butterbeer!
