Red Alert FSU Football is done for 2024!

Red Alert FSU football is in deep trouble! As in, their entire season is over! Not only are they a shocking 0-2 but they are 0-2 in the ACC after two losses to Georgia Tech and Boston College. Those two schools are not considered top shelf in the ACC.

To simplify matters, Florida State will not make the ACC championship game which means they will not make the expanded 12 team college football playoff that Seminoles fans thought was a certainty in 2024. It is a hard reality to swallow by the first weekend of September.

RED ALERT FSU FOOTBALL

And it is going to get worse. While Florida State won't play again until September 14th, that game will be against a respectable Memphis team. But the Seminoles still have dates against Clemson, Miami, Notre Dame and Florida. And the Miami and Notre Dame games are on the road! Yikes. There is the potential for 2-4 more losses on this schedule. Forget about the ACC title or the college football playoffs! We are wondering if FSU will turn things around and become bowl eligible!

After last year's remarkable FSU football season, the school made coach Mike Norvell one of the highest paid coaches in college football to the tune of 10 million dollars a year. He will have to earn his keep and figure a way to turn this season around. But Norvell made a huge mistake. Needing to replace quarterback Jordan Travis, he got DJ Uiagalelei in the portal. But he is at his third school. That should tell you something. The problem is that his two backups are redshirt freshman Brock Glenn and true freshman Luke Kromenhoek.

So Red Alert FSU football appears done for 2024. On to 2025. For more college football tune in each weekday to Craig Shemon and Company from 2-6 on ESPN Southwest Florida.

5 Fabulous And Festive DIY Fall Decor Ideas

Labor Day is the official, unofficial end of summer. I don't know about you, but I could almost feel a little bit of fall, or at least autumn, in the air Sunday morning. Now that it is September, we can officially bring out the browns, oranges and golds. To help in the creativity department, here are 5 fabulous and festive DIY Fall decor ideas for TikTok Tuesday.

Some people may already be putting up Halloween decorations. Have you heard the new buzzword "Fall-oween"?

However, I like to take things at a little slower pace. I'll post some spooky DIY ideas in about four weeks. For now, lets dip our toes into seasonal decor that is more universal and can certainly stay up through both Halloween and Thanksgiving. Unless you get bored of them by then.

DIY Fall Decor Ideas

Most of my social media feeds have been teaming with al things pumpkin spice. But for some reason I'm rebelling against that too this year. At least for now.

Then I saw that shower rod hack resurface. Last year everyone was allabout it for making Christmas garland doorways and such. Well apparently, it transitions into a quick and easy way to add a touch of fall to your home.

For some, buying a few gords and one of those cinammon brooms at the grocery store is enough. Adding a touch of the season into your home or office decor does not have to be hard or expensive. But if you're feeling a little frisky, up for some fun this fall, I've pulled together a few ideas that appear to be simple to execute and produce impressive results.

Finally, if you don't have a TikTok account, don't worry. I've made it easy to view the videos by taking these links from mine. Simply scroll down and watch from this post. Share with friends who also love decorating and DIY projects.

Good Old Shower Rod Hack

This is  one everyone was trying on for size last christmas. You'll also need a pool noodle. Finally you can get rid of that one that was starting to look tattered and worn by repurposing it.

Impressive Centerpiece

I love how this one looks. You can even melt that wax with a quick blast from a hairdryer in order to get things to stick. Brilliant. Nice hostess gift too.

Plunger Art 101

Who knew a plunger could be so versatile. Looking at it, you would never know. This is one item I would not repurpose though. Just buy a new one at the $1 store. Haha.

Topiary Tree

This looks impressive. It also looks fairly easy to pull off. I love the addition of sparkling lights for that extra festive touch. Put it indoors or on your front porch.

DIY For Beginners

If you think you aren't crafty or many of your DIY projects just don't turn out like the videos, perhaps this one will work. It seems pretty straight forward. Just pick out the right pumpkins and you should be good to go.
