Tagovailao and Love get Paid so Who is Next?

Tagovailoa and Love got Paid: After very long negotiations the Miami Dolphins signed quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to a lucrative long term contract extension Friday. Shortly thereafter, the Green Bay Packers did the same with Jordan Love. Neither topped the QB market as we have grown accustomed to the next man up always exceeding the previous guy's contract. But they were close.

TAGOVAILOA AND LOVE $$$

Both Tagovailoa and Love cracked the $50 million dollar a year club with their new deals. Tua comes in at 4 years and $212.4 million while Love comes in at 4 years and $220 million. Not bad! It would be wise to make friends with Tagovailoa and Love!

The Jaguars contract with Trevor Lawrence is still the biggest per year at 5 years and $275 million with $200 million guaranteed and the Bengals Joe Burrow is right there with his 5 year $275 million dollar extension with over $219 million guaranteed. But the Chiefs and Patrick Mahomes' contract is the biggest overall at $450 million. However he is beginning to slip out of the top ten for annual QB salaries so look for his deal to get reworked sometime soon.

WHO IS NEXT?

Meanwhile the Dallas Cowboys continue to drag their feet with Dak Prescott who many feel will breach $60 million a year when he hits free agency next season as he will probably have multiple bidders. And the 49ers will probably extend Brock Purdy at the end of the season with a deal north of $325 million dollars. Not bad for a guy that was the last pick in the draft.
