Florida DUI Suspect Gives Tire Receipt to Police instead of License

A Florida DUI Suspect was arrested on the Fourth of July for DUI and multiple charges after driving the wrong way with two children in his car.

This Florida DUI suspect took holiday spirit to a whole new level. As the fireworks were lighting up the sky on the 4th, and everyone was out celebrating, Nicholas Kahl decides to drive down a one-way street. And with two little kids in the backseat! That's a recipe for disaster if I ever saw one.

According to NBC2, Kahl’s cruising down N. Brevard Avenue, right past the police station, mind you, when a cop spots him. They pull him over and the cop asks Kahl if he knows he's going the wrong way. This dude just stares at him, probably trying to figure out which way is up.

When the officer asks for his license, this guy hands over a receipt for some tires he bought. Not exactly the right document, buddy. The cop immediately smells the booze on his breath and notices that this Florida DUI suspect has a "Rainbow Runtz" marijuana vape chilling in the passenger seat, along with a weed joint in the cup holder.

Now, Kahl's not cooperating one bit. He refuses to do any sobriety tests and won't give his information. Turns out, this dude has a history of three previous DUIs. They finally ID him as some guy from Indiana and haul him off to the DeSoto County Jail.

Kahl’s racked up a long list of charges. We’re talking DUI (his fourth or more, no less), child neglect, refusing sobriety tests, possession of drugs without a prescription, resisting an officer, and having weed and drug paraphernalia. This Florida DUI suspect just hit the jackpot of bad decisions.

Luckily, the kids were picked up safely by their mom. But Nicholas Kahl? He’s going to have some time to think about his dumb choices. Fourth of July or not, there's really no excuse for putting kids and everyone else in danger.
