The Florida Everblades new affiliate has been announced today to be the St. Louis Blues.
Since parting ways with the NHL's recent Stanley Cup Champions, the Florida Panthers on June 13th, the Florida Everblades fandom has been awaiting news on the franchise's new affiliate.
Today (June 10th), the Florida Everblades have announced their recent agreement to a multi-year affiliation with the St. Louis Blues along with the AHL's Springfield Thunderbirds.
The St. Louis Blues, who missed the last two years of the playoffs with a 37-38-7 record in the 2023 season following a 43-33-6 record in the 2024 season, claimed a title just 4 years prior in 2019.
With the Florida Everblades being four-time Kelly Cup Champions and three of those being back-to-back-to-back, they're still on the hunt to dominate at the ECHL level and continue to produce for the league above them.
"We are hoping to establish a long term working relationship with St. Louis and Springfield, one that mutually benefits all three teams," said Everblades Head Coach Brad Ralph. "We are excited to help St. Louis develop their players while continuing to ice a winning team in Florida."
