Always treat your honey with respect , and never disrespect them over a honey Bun. Well, Pinellas County, Florida, had themselves a real sticky situation recently. According to FOX35, it all went down at a Walmart Supercenter in St. Pete. You'd think people would be catching some Z's or maybe finishing a late-night snack. But not Andre Eason. This guy and his girlfriend were in their car, and things took a nasty turn all over a honey bun pastry.
Yeah, a sweet and delicious Little Debbie snack. That little sugary delight caused a whole lot of drama. Eason, who’s 47 by the way, apparently got so worked up that he smacked his girlfriend across the face. Now, I don't know what kind of deep love you have for a honey bun to make you go and do something like that, but this man was clearly on one. The smack left her face all red and probably left him in a bit of trouble, too.
Honey Bun Bummer:
The police show up, see what's going on, and next thing you know, Eason is in custody for domestic battery. Imagine explaining that to your cellmate: "Hey, man, what you in for?" "Oh, I slapped my girl over some honey buns." That's a tough one to live down.
But here’s the thing, this dude Eason didn't stay locked up for long. He was back out later that same day, according to the court records. Probably went right back to Walmart, maybe to grab another snack. Who knows?
What I do know is that your honey should be just as sweet to you as a honey bun. Never put up with someone willing to go to violence over pastries. You deserve much better. So let this be a lesson that, as tasty as those honey buns might be, they ain’t worth the hassle. Keep your hands to yourself, enjoy your snacks in peace and love.
