Comedian and Actor David Spade announced his fall tour yesterday, and it turns out the Joe Dirt star will be spending his first week of October here in Florida. Spade's Catch Me Inside Tour is coming to Fort Myers. He will be performing at the Barbara B. Mann Performing Arts Hall.
Spade has set himself up for quite a busy 2024. He is currently embarking on the Joe Dirt Country Bus tour. This takes him through North Carolina, Kentucky and Tennessee until the end of June.
After a quick holiday break, Spade will then hop back on the road, starting the next leg of his tour on July 19 in Las Vegas. 18 standup comedy dates from his coast-to-coast tour then lie ahead. It is also quite possible you will be catching material that will then be featured in a forthcoming concert special. The stop in Denver, Colorado is scheduled to also be a "special taping."
Along the way, you have to wonder if Spade will be getting a head start to prepare for next year. 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of arguably his biggest hit film, Tommy Boy, where he starred alongside the late, great, Chris Farley.

This venue has become quite popular for comedy acts to stop at. In fact, Pete Davidson and Justin Willman both have shows here in the coming months as well.
In addition to Tommy Boy, if you need some material to prep you for Spade's comedic humor, the soon-to-be 60-year-old star has also had a featured role Black Sheep, Dickie Robert: Former Child Star, and Adam Sandler's Grown Ups series.
In addition, Spade has a popular podcast called Fly On The Wall. His co-host is Dana Carvey.
