Spotlighting 100 Acts of Goodwill: A Century of Compassion Captured in a Mini-Documentary Series
Celebrating a landmark 100 years of service, Ace Hardware proudly unveils Heartware Stories, an initiative that encapsulates a century of unparalleled community support and heartfelt kindness. This campaign features a mini-documentary series highlighting 100 transformative moments of humanity, originating from Ace employees throughout stores across all 50 states. Sunshine Ace Hardware in Bonita Springs, Florida, is one of those Heartware Stories.

Sunshine Ace Hardware - Heartware Stories
The Southwest Florida entry involves the aftermath of Hurricane Ian. For Michael Wynn, Owner of Sunshine Ace Hardware, it was a level of destruction he had never seen before.
"My family history in Florida goes back to the 1880s. Our family has faced countless hurricanes, but never one like this," said Michael. "I have to say I was truly humbled when I came in the store less than 24 hours after Hurricane Ian had passed, to see our associates ready to help customers despite having damage to their own homes."
"Being part of a committed family means not only taking care of those we serve, but also being there for each other in our greatest time of need," said Michael. "And that is exactly what our team did in the aftermath of Hurricane Ian."
As Ace Hardware celebrates a century of service, it further marks this momentous milestone by inviting everyone to its grandest event yet: the 100th Anniversary Block Party. This nationwide celebration is scheduled for Saturday, June 29, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at participating stores nationwide.
