Get Free Beer At Busch Gardens This Summer

The heat has arrived in Florida and to cool you off, you can get free beer at Busch Gardens this summer.

Summer time is all about having fun. Living in Southwest Florida, we are lucky to have warm weather year-round, but with the kids out of school and plenty of time to play the days away, there's nothing like a good theme park. But parents need to have fun too, and if includes taking the kids to said theme park, there's a little something for them. Get free beer at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay this summer!

Busch Gardens is one of my favorite theme parks because it truly has something for everyone. I have friends that go for the thrills alone, riding every coaster from open to close. But me, I prefer walking around and enjoying the animals. The various festivals they have throughout the year are amazing too from Food & Wine Festival to Bier Fest to Mardi Gras and of course, the big Christmas celebration.

To help cool you down and quench your thirst on a hot day, Busch Gardens has free beer. With each ticket, you can enjoy 1 free beer per day. If you have an annual pass, you can get 2 free beers each day.

In a press release, Busch Gardens said: "From classic domestic brews to artisanal craft beers, guests can enjoy a refreshing drink while experiencing the thrill of award-winning roller coasters and up-close encounters with animals and all the NEW things happening this summer."

Not only is the free beer a great incentive to get up to Busch Gardens, but Summer Nights is also going on now. You can enjoy performances from Gwazi Rocks, Cirque Electric and fireworks every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There's also some new menu items to try including Hushpuppy Dogs, Chicken and Waffles and a Fried Oreo Cupcake.

I'm a beach girl and I love discovering new ones whether in Florida or places around the world. Blue water, blue skies, fresh air, the combination never gets old.

The photos above and below are some that I took a few years ago in Portugal. The coastal European country has lots of beachfront, but the most beautiful ones are found south, in the area known as the Algarve.

Although not visible from the angle of the photo below, the water is a gorgeous blue. The honeycomb cliffs are fascinating to walk around, walk through and see from the water. It really is a stunning place.

And before you ask, yes, the water is cold, especially for a Florida girl. However, it feels so good.

I love this area of the world. Not only is it visually spectacular, but the food is fantastic, and the people are exceptionally friendly and hospitable. In addition, it is still a pretty affordable place to visit. Put Portugal in general on your must-visit list and star the Algarve as a must-see.

While dong some vacation daydreaming this weekend, I found a few videos on social media that had me looking up the costs of plane tickets. Wow are these gorgeous getaways.

Here are five gorgeous beaches with beautiful water. I think we could turn this video into a drinking game though. Every time the narrator says the phrase "crystal clear water" you drink. Listen and you'll understand. She does have some great videos though. 

The video says this lovely local is a mere 1.5 hours from Miami. But, where is this? The Bahamas? Bimini? Palm Island? Do you know?

If you love beaches but also find peace and comfort in the mountains, this might be the spot for you. Saint Lucia is also pretty easy to get to from South Florida. 

I wish I could click my heals and be in that see through canoe. It's called Moana island and it looks like a movie set. But it's real.

So far I've just posted photos of beaches. However, you have to have a place to stay. Look at this breathtaking resort. I don't think I'd ever come home.
