I'm sure we've all thought about what we'd do if we win the lottery, and one lucky person won't have to think about it any longer as a Bradenton Publix sold a $4.25 million Florida lottery ticket.

Every time I'm at a Fort Myers Publix, especially on the night before a big lottery jackpot, the line at customer service is pretty long. And it's all people taking their shot buying a ticket hoping to hit the big jackpot. I used to play the lottery all the time, mainly just scratchers. I bartended for a long time and any dollar bills I had leftover after cashing in, I'd stop at the gas station on my way home and pick up a ticket or two. My favorites were always the crossword and the bingo cards. For some reason in my mind, because they take longer to scratch, I'm getting my moneys worth.

I haven't bought a ticket in a while, but I'm starting to think that maybe I should start again. A Publix shopper hit the jackpot Saturday night.

I'm feeling the excitement for the person who went in, bought a ticket at a Bradenton Publix on State Road 64 and woke up Sunday morning realizing that weren't just a millionaire, but a MULTI-millionaire. They were probably at the store getting stuff for dinner that night, decided to get a ticket and BAM. They won.

The winning numbers for Saturday's drawing were 2, 11, 15, 16, 18 and 26. And this lucky winner got all six numbers for a win of $4.25 million.

If you didn't win this time, but want to try your luck (like me!) the next drawing is Wednesday, May 15. Because the jackpot was hit, it will reset to $1 million.

Good luck!

We all know there's a lot of wealth in Florida and if you've ever wondered who the 19 richest billionaires are in the state, you're about to find out.

Every time I drive past a super huge home or see someone driving a car that costs more than I'll make in 3 years, I always wonder what they do for a living. I know there's a few TikTok accounts that flat out ask people that question. One guy hangs down on 5th Avenue South in Naples all the time and a guy in Miami too, but after seeing some of the reactions he gets, I'll pass and just dream.

America is home to more than billionaires than any other country in the world. Being a billionaire is the ultimate dream for many people. But once you've got all the money in the world, what's next? I mean, you finally have enough money to buy all the avocado toast you've ever wanted! And with the money left over, you can buy the whole avocado farm. You can also afford to buy all the bubble wrap you want and pop it until you're blue in the face. Instead of just owning just one mansion, you can own one on every beach in the state. I also feel like a good hobby to take up would be collecting luxury yachts, because who needs just one?

You might be asking what kind of industries these billionaires made their money in. Really, it's just a few: finance & investments, technology, food & drink, fashion & retail and media & entertainment.

Using data from Forbes, Stacker put together a list of the richest billionaires in Florida. Some are even right here in SWFL.
