Florida Man with Face Covered in Tattoos Charged with Animal Cruelty

A Cape Coral man with face covered in tattoos breaks into his ex-girlfriend's home, wreaking havoc and flushing her pet fish down the toilet.

Look at that face covered in tattoos. I know they say don't judge a book by its cover. But one look at that Florida man's mugshot, and you just know that's the face of questionable life choices. According to NBC2, this guy is named Bret Dahl, and he allegedly decided to break into his ex-girlfriend's Cape Coral home in the dead of night.

Bret wasn't trying to bring his former squeeze flowers or chocolates either. Instead, this scary looking dude with the face covered in tattoos was bringing violence and fear. Bret was allegedly there to go on a rampage. He barges in through the back, starts throwing stuff around, and demanding to know where his gun is hiding. Because that's just the kind of thing he needs to complete his "bad guy" costume. A gun, right?

Covered in Tattoos and Crime:

Now our criminal with the face covered in tattoos wasn't too happy when his ex couldn't locate his firearm for him. So what does he do? He starts shoving her around, and breaks whatever's handy, and let's not forget the fish tank. Just to really drive home the whole "I'm a bad guy and do bad things" persona, Bret smashes that too. The ex's poor little pet fishy "Bean" then gets cruelly flushed down the toilet. An innocent fish, sent to an early (and gross) grave.

As if that wasn't enough, mean ol' Bret's rage-marathon continued. On his way out, he grabs his ex's iPhone and then goes all Hulk smash on her car, busting up the headlight and window.

But guess what? His ex luckily got away and ran to her brother's place to dial 911. The cops soon caught up with Bret later that day, and arrested him.

And they say that when you do stupid things, you win stupid prizes. And boy, did Bret win big! We're talking about charges like grand theft, burglary, criminal mischief, obstructing justice, and even animal cruelty. Yikes.

Turns out, Bret's got a rap sheet. Wait. Really?! Not the man with the face covered in tattoos?! Yes. You see, back in February, he allegedly went berserk on another woman. Wow. Now that's shocking. He looks like such a nice guy…
