Anthony Kim Should Go to LIV
Anthony Kim is returning to professional golf according to a golf.com report. The 38 year-old hasn’t teed it up professionally since he was 26. A series of injuries forced Kim to retire at the age of 29. Part of that retirement includes a $10 million insurance policy Kim collected. That would almost certainly have to be paid back in full if Kim returns to the course. Anthony Kim is reportedly in discussion to LIV Golf and the PGA Tour. Because the insurance policy looms over Kim’s decision, Anthony Kim should go to LIV Golf. He would be guaranteed a spot in every tournament and he would guarantee his paycheck. AK would also bring a new story line to LIV. They’ve had the big names like Bryson, Brooks, and now Jon Rahm. Kim’s comeback would be something golf fans are interested in watching. Anthony Kim should go to LIV Golf.

Anthony Kim said that he believes his game is finally at a point where he can make a return to competitive golf. Even though Kim hung up the bag in 2012, he hasn’t played elite level golf since the 2010 season. From 2008-2010 Kim was a fan favorite with a ton of on-course success. He had 18 top 10’s, 15 top-5’s, and 4 solo wins. During that stretch Kim also helped the 2008 U.S. Ryder Cup team defeat Europe and a solo 3rd-place finish at The Masters. In the second round of the 2009 Masters Kim set a single-round birdie record that still stands today with 11. There is no doubt about the talent Anthony Kim once had. But after a twelve year layoff will he be able to find the form that once captivated the golf world?
