Florida Police On Alert After Lewd Behavior at Naples Pier

I can't stand it when weirdos show up to mess with your day. Like the recent Naples Pier incident were some random guy starts waving around his "tiny dancer" for everyone to see. I know how uncomfortable that must of made people. One time at the beach I was strolling back to my car, and what do I find? A Polaroid picture strategically placed on my windshield.

So, naturally, I grab the photo, only to uncover the mystery man behind it. For reasons unknown, this dude decided my car needed a snapshot of himself in all his beach glory. And when I say glory, I mean in a pose not suited for a family-friendly beach.

I was seriously baffled. Was this some kind of prank or just a random act of unwanted nudity? Why my car?! Why me?! It was just plain weird. Nobody signs up for that kind of surprise.

Fast forward to the incident near Naples Pier. According to NBC2, Naples police responded to a call about a guy exposing himself on Wednesday. The victim, was peacefully walking around near Naples Pier when they noticed this guy driving by more than once. The witness claimed he circled the area in his vehicle before revealing the little man behind the curtin. Gross.

On the suspects third pass, this dude allegedly approached the victim with everything on full display. Oh, he wasn't just exposing himself, he also had a real potty mouth too. Not only could he not keep his pants buttoned but he couldn't help to throw in some inappropriate propositions to the mix. Luckily the victim quickly reported the incident to police. Mr. Show and Tell, he hightailed it out of there.

Law enforcement, especially the ones in Naples, not big fans of strange behavior, are actively investigating.

It's rare in the U.S. to come across a nude beach, but two of the best nude beaches in the world are right here in Florida.

Picture this: you arrive at the beach, whether it be Sanibel, Fort Myers, Naples or Bonita, wearing your best bikini, ready to unwind and enjoy hot summer sun. Then you look to your left, and to your right, and see people wearing a little less than you, or nothing at all. It's a common sight in Europe, but here in the U.S. not so much. However, there are some nude beaches to be found and in fact, two in Florida are among the best in the world.

I feel like a serious hazard for nude sunbathing would be the sun. Sure, your arms, legs and face get exposure day to day, but some parts of us don't regularly see the sun. It might be a two person job to get to those hard-to-reach areas. Let's also not forget that sand is, well, sandy. I always say my least favorite part of the beach is the sand. It's pretty and feels good between your toes, but if you're in the buff that sand can get to places sand should never go.

A swimwear company called Pour Moi put out its list of the best beaches in the world for nude sunbathing. In Florida, two beaches made the list. Coming in at #20, Playalinda Beach located inside Canaveral National Seashore in Brevard County. Haulover Beach Park in Miami came in at #1. You can see the full list here. The top 5 are below.

Playa de los Muertos is known as the ‘entrance gate’ to Cabo de Gata-Níjar natural park. This park has some of the best nude beaches in Spain.

Patara Beach is the longest beach on the Turkish Riviera. Not only great for sunbathing, this beach also offers horseback riding and surfing.

Red Beach gets its name from the red lava rocks. They make for great scenery and also offer a cover while nude sunbathing. 

Praia de Tambaba is a clothing optional beach. The gorgeous water and soft, white sand make for a great setting for sunbathing. 

Haulover Beach Park in Miami takes the top spot. It's a hot spot year-round in South Florida and if you want to bring the family, there are designated spots for those looking to sunbathe nude.
